ring size

Determining your own ring size is not that easy. Several factors play a role here: what time of day or year do I measure my finger for the ring I want, what temperatures are currently prevailing but also different designs or the width of the bands can affect the ring size. It is therefore advisable to measure the desired finger several times a day. In general a ring should be easy to put on and take off with a little resistance. Nevertheless the feeling of wearing a ring is an individual feeling.

Especially since we want to avoid sending unnecessary plastic ring sizers we would like to ask you to determine your ring size yourself using simple steps - if you do not know your ring size.

For our gentlemen who would like to purchase one of our engagement rings or a gift and do not know the ring size of their loved one we also recommend following the following steps or discreetly stealing a ring from their loved one and measuring it:

  1. method
You can place a well-fitting ring on a ruler and use it to
measure the inner diameter of the ring. Please select the appropriate ring size using the ring size table below. If you are not sure please choose the larger ring size.
  2. method
Take a narrow piece of gift ribbon or cut out a narrow strip of paper. Wrap the ribbon or paper around your finger once so that it fits snugly. Mark the spot where the ends meet with a sharp pen. Now place the strip on the ruler and measure to the marked spot. Now look at our ring size table to see which ring size the measured strip corresponds to.
  3. method
Go to a jeweler you trust and have them determine your ring size.

If the ring does not fit you can send it back to us and we will adjust the ring size. Please contact our customer service at info@ateliersofia-finejewelry.com.
