cleaning our jewelry
Here you will find tips to ensure that your piece of jewelry remains in perfect condition for the long term.
Diamonds are the hardest material in the world. Therefore a diamond can only be scratched by another diamond but a diamond can scratch softer materials. Therefore it is best to store your jewelry in the original box to protect it as best as possible from knocks and friction. Alternatively you can store your jewelry separately in a fabric-lined jewelry box.
Your piece of jewelry is precious but also delicate and requires care that you can implement with simple steps to preserve the unique beauty of your creation over time.
We recommend to consider the following:
- Contact with perfume and personal care products, lotions, hair care products and other cosmetics as well as household cleaners could alter the color and appearance of the materials. Please wait a few minutes before putting on your jewelry.
- Protect your creation from tap water, chlorine and salt water as well as prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and high temperatures.
- Remove your jewelry before exercising, gardening or cooking to avoid unnecessary scratches and impacts. We also recommend that you remove your jewelry before showering, bathing, swimming in the sea or in a hot tub.
- Gently clean your creation with a very soft toothbrush or brush and a mild soap solution. Rinse your creation with fresh water and dry it with a soft, dry cloth. This will help to preserve the shine of your creation for a long time.
